Research

With a large number of renowned universities and institutes, the Hamburg metropolitan region is an important research hub – for climate research, among other things. This is complemented by the research and development work in its companies. The hydrogen economy is also an area of research with growing importance. Research is being conducted on storage systems, drive systems for forms of mobility on water, land and in the air, the implementation of hydrogen in gas grids and supplying heat, and further developing production possibilities.

In the Cluster Agency, we network numerous experts with an R&D background and are happy to establish links to companies, universities and research or funding institutions. Bringing these experts together serves to create and promote innovative projects.
