The first step is to set up an infrastructure for importing low carbon ammonia. A tank is being built at Blumensand Terminal for the temporary storage of imported ammonia. Next to this, project partner Air Products plans to use an H2 production unit to split the ammonia into hydrogen and nitrogen and prepare it for distribution.
