Renewable Energy Hamburg, Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy and Hamburg Invest host a brief workshop on recruiting in the field of renewables. Three young ladies from Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy and Vattenfall will talk about their careers, their experiences and will reveil useful information and recommendations for students interested in the sector of renewables. We welcome on stage: Jennifer Kühn and Linda Wagner, both SGRE, as well as Johanna Robke, Vattenfall.
- Jennifer Kühn, Former service technician, SGRE:
"As a former offshore service technician, I would like to motivate and inspire women and girls to enter STEM professions. It is not only the technical aspects that make the work exciting, but also the team. A team in which even more diversity can be needed."
- Johanna Robke, Package Manager, Site Conditions and Loads, Vattenfall Windkraft GmbH, Hamburg
- Linda Wagner, Installation Lead Team for Onshore NEME, SGRE
"Always been interested in science and technical topics, maths and chemistry were Linda´s majors at school followed by studying industrial/mechanical engineering. She worked in engineering roles since then, and is in a manager position now. She had to overcome some stones on the way to get where she is now. But it has been a pleasure working in these jobs. She would love to share her motivation and encourage other females to continue their path in STEM – it is totally worth it."
